Not only is it awesome. It is classic that they are all keeping timing by bouncing their heads up and down. (in the groove must I say)

Rhumba, I saw this little ditty some time back. The little ones are great and there is definitely a lot of talent there. I just cant help but think those little kids are in some kind of danger. maby not precisely at that moment, But they just seem a little to perfect for healthy 5 year old kids. I don't know about kids in the UK but you'd be hard pressed to get that many little American kids to be so precise and in unison. I don't know man It just looks scary to me.

The cutest kid video Rhumba. I think Danny posted this a few months back and I planned to comment then but forgot to.
All of the concern about the little one's well being is well intentioned I'm sure but not necessary. I started playing at 5 y/o and our guitar teacher was pretty stern and I survived so I'm sure these kids will as well.
Thanks for posting Rhumba.

Danny is this the same vid or is here another one of the same group that you posted?

I know this is N. Korea and we all assume these kids are controlled by the state and not by pushy parents wanting their kids to show amazing skills.
Whatever, those kids look happy enough to me, I don't get the impression some guards are standing in the wings pointing guns at them. They might just genuinly love what they are doing. It's difficult to guess at the mysteries and secrecy that comes from that corner of the world and we jump to cynical assumptions and mostly with sincere concerns.
I too would have grave misgiving of this performance if I thought these kids were in 'danger' but that could come anyway, everything that comes out of N. Korea is treated with suspicion and perhaps rightly so, do we know whats really going on here?
Their complete approach to life is so different from ours and No!..I cannot imagine kids of that age performing so exacting and professionally in the UK, however.....I do see pushy parents putting their young boys into boxing rings and I wonder just how many of those kids actually want to do that. Maybe they would rather be playing music...?
In the past I've always taken a cynical view of any kids, anywhere, being used by adults for amusment and monetary gain by using them like performing monkeys, in talent shows etc. But all of us, all around the world, do it! Why should it not happen in N. Korea?
I did not intend this to be a political issue, I avoid that on here always.
Like most, if not all of us, I just thought it was an impressive performance and if I dare say, like Roland.... "cute"..I wasn't looking for anything more.

Likewise I was not intending to turn this into any political issue or controversy. Like you I think those little ones are extremely talented and "cute", I also hope that you and Roland are right in your assumption.

No sweat friend, I only wish my 5 Y/O granddaughter would demonstrate a little of that kind of dedication to her music. Oh well, maybe in time. 8)

Yeah! right on Rip, with hair all the way down his back and playing a queer shaped pointy electric guitar, very loud and giving us all earache...errr...a little bit like me below. but I didn't take the world by storm.
