I've been replacing my 10s with 9s except on my Jazzmaster. Trying to stave off arthritis.

I play on Ernie Ball .010 - .046 Regular Slinky's. I have played on 10's for so many years, if I pick up a guitar with 9's they feel so light and I'd be afraid I'd bust a string.

I'm a D'Addario 9s man, I like the elasticity for nice big bends and finger vibrato but I've also used their 9s tops 10s bottoms which are ok.

Depends on the guitar. Some feel/play better with 9's, some with 10's.
