I'm sorry about your amp...solid state amps fail, too, and sometimes more spectacularly than a simple tube swap. I remember you were very excited about that amp when you bought it.

Those Peaveys are pretty nice...I used to jam with a dude who used a similar amp for honky tonk c&w gigs.
