So, I found some adapter brackets on ebay that allow a tele type (single coils both bridge and neck) pickup to be mounted into a humbucker cavity...

I have an ES-137 that I would like to try this on... anyone know of a sound clip or video where someone has done this... Curious to see it in a body that is 335 or larger.... full hollow or semi...

A few years ago a friend of mine tried the same kind of thing, installing Tele pickups on a 335 style body. He had problems from the get go with feedback any time he tried turning them up past 3 and below that they just sounded very thin and dead. Needless to say he swapped them out for some P90's that got him closer to the sound he was looking for. HTH

Sincere thanks for the reply, Maybe this is why I have never seen this configuration on a semi-hollow... I'll install them and let you know what happens...
