Saturdays from here on in won't be the same without Beaub's ritual Saturday A:M greetings. His weekend postings gave everyone the chance to catch up on each other's goings on during the week and their weekend plans.I wish that at least he could continue with that,it just wouldn't be the same if someone else did it,it just felt like Beaub's own copyrighted thread. If you read this Beaubs you are missed by one and all and I'm sure that I share everyone else's sentiments wishing you all the best and to please at least reconsider keeping your Saturday salutations going.

The man said it is time for a rest, Why cant we let that run it's course and continue on with maybe a Saturday mourning Howdy-Do in his honor? Maybe we could call it Beabus's Corner or something, and whoever gets there tired $@! up first on Saturday Morning can start things off With a Howdy-Do From Beabus's Corner. Just an idea. 8)

+1 Derek. I miss the Brother too. I'm hoping that he's gigging more now.
Danny your idea is a good one and I would just ask that we go back to Beaubs first Saturday post and work forward. I'm not the nosy type but I looked and Noticed that I don't remember Beaubs first name, He joined the Forum on Monday, December 8, 2008, a leap year. A date memorable to me as it's the anniversary of my Fathers passing on, in what was also a leap year at that time.
Beaubs signature
"Roland was a warrior, from the land of the midnight sun
....with a Thompson Gun for hire, fighting to be done"
is a line from "Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner" co-written by Warren Zevon and (look it up) and is also a favorite song of a group of my friends from school (grammar and high schools) that I still see and hang out with when ever possible (Roland is my first name). The December 8 date is the birthday of some pretty interesting people as well.
It always catches me by surprise when you learn about stuff after the fact.
So. if we're gonna keep the light on, lets put in some effort, the first one of us goes back and quotes (hit the quote tab, lower right of the post) the first Saturday post which would be December 13, 2008 just have to do a search, and so on and so forth and this that and the other.
Saying you love some one and showing you love some one are two different Equidae so to speak. In this effort more "show" and less "tell" may help.

I always looked forward to the Sat. Lounge Lizard posts. I will miss Beaubs and the little personal "catch up" time we had. It would be nice if someone would keep the ball rolling until Beaubs comes back.
