I know I am a week late, I'm a slacker. With all of these forum members both here in the United States and abroad, I am curious as to whom is a fan of Formula 1. I have been a fan since the early 80's when my father got me into it. I have yet to go to a race, but I am on the couch for every race weekend.
Last weekend, I thought that Australia was an enjoyable race with the amount of cars that were dropping out. That mixes things up quite a bit and gives some of the other drivers an opportunity to shine. I am not so much a Ferrari man, but I am a Kimi fan. Also a Jenson fan, Honda need to give him a competitive car. I think that Kimi was pushing too hard to get towards the front, and I feel Coulthard is at fault in his collision with Massa.
I'd like to see rain in Malaysia both during qualifing and the race itself, just to screw things up a bit. I hope that we don't see Lewis out front and not challenged again. Don't get me wrong, I like Lewis, but I would like to see a BMW, Williams, or even a Honda pull a win. Just my thoughts, share yours.

I am a fan of most forms of racing. Some I watch, some I don't. I do watch F1 as often as I can. It would be nice to see the dominant car be different each week, but I really don't see that happening.
Since Michael retired I really don't have favorite.

I'm a big fan of Lewis Hamilton and Robert Kubica.

I'll be staying up to see Malaysia quali at 2AM EDT

And watching the race live on Sunday

I'm a F1 fan from when I was a kid.

I have been watching since the 80's. I have some great VCR tapes from the early to mid 90's that I am burning to DVD. I miss having 20 to 24 different cars instead of 10 teams with two cars.

I also miss no speed limits in the pit lane, drivers running across the track and magnesium plates on the bottom of the cars that shot sparks. I also used to get 5:30 / 6:00 A.M. to watch the races after being out most of Saturday night.

I'd like to see BMW and Kubica do well this year. He came in second at Malaysia. Mclaren and Hamilton are just too good and it's obvious that car is better right now. But I'm a Ferrari fan and Raikonnen is good and earned a well-deserved championship last year.

I'm also into racing, but mainly drag racing.
In case nobody's seen it in a few years, top fuel dragsters are now running 4.40 ET's at 330+ MPH
with funny cars not far behind, running 4.70's/330+
