Well, Hi There! Really enjoying all my new gear I bought with that bag of money those guys gave me while I was waiting for you to get home. I know all the money in the world couldn't match the feeling when you look at your new bass.

Tell "Nice Lady" I said "Hi!"

That's great. Glad you're enjoying the gear.

Have the authorities contacted you yet?

That "nice lady" says Hi and drop by anytime for a cheese sandwich and bottled water, plain or lemon flavored.

It's been 2 months since I've got the bass and man I'm still lovin' it. :D

Right after I bought the bass I changed bands. Nobody's fault, just wasn't workin' out. I got together with some guys I played with 15 years agao. We had a pretty good thing going back in the day. We've only been able to practiced once or twice a week the last month and a half learning/re-learning songs as a band. It has been a blast. Everyone gets serious when we practice a song, working on playing together. If someone isn't sure about their part, they don't over play trying to compensate. Instead they lay back. In-between songs, well it's every man for himself. I love it.

The drummer plays very clean and we're beginning to get really tight. Four of us sing back up and take turns on the lead. We each have our own style and niche so we do play a wide variety. We joke that our motto is "Everything from Motown to Cowtown".

Our lead guitar player sings When A Man Loves A Woman. He does such a great job on this song that I get chills everytime he sings it. I play a very simple bass line. just try to carry the melody and let him carry the song with his vocals. I really have to be careful not to pay too much attention to his vocals and concentrate on the bass line so I won't mess it up.

We open our "Come Back Tour" the 17th of this month. Just a small bar/club in this small town that I live in. Nice place though. We expect around 150-200 people which will really pack this place. It's still a couple of weeks away, but I'm getting almost as excited as when I played my first gig.

YES! Weekend!
I've been waiting for this day since Monday!
Hope to get to Guitar Center and get some strings for Vengence, she's been outa commission for about two weeks now, I broke a string, then somehow another broke when I restrung it.... I don't get to Amarillo often enough to get some more...
On the other hand, it feels good going completely acoustic for quite a while,
:D
Hope y'alls weekends are fun!

Tessa♥

I took the bag to The Federal Reserve bank in Pittsburgh, they said it was all good.

Be sure to tell "Nice Lady", "Hi!" for me.

It WASN'T your fault about going to another band, after all, with a bass like that you had to move up in status.

Glad to hear all is well, enjoy the gig.

Aw man! I just read your post. I hope I don't catch it!
You should really stay off the forums as long as you're contagious.

Just kidding. Hope you get to feeling better soon.

That's why you should wash your hands and use hand sanitizer whenever you leave the Forums. I always carry a small bottle in the car. I'm sure glad i had it when I was sitting on your porch.

Oh yeah, my Sales engineer sent the nicest fruit basket today thanking me for my order, I still have over half left, the new stained ash American Standards look pretty nice.
