There was some pretty wicked weather in the heartland of the USA last night. Saw video of a trashed musician's tourbus that was ripped up and rolled over by a tornado. Guess that tour is over. I heard there were 9 people killed in all in the storms. Tragic. Nobody expects tornadoes this time of year in Illinois or Missouri. Branson was hit pretty good. They were predicting similar weather here in NC tonight, but I haven't heard of anything as dramatic as last night in the heartland.

Pittsburg State University (here in southeast Kansas) was damaged in the storms. The technology center is out of power so I don't have class for a while... A city up by Topeka, KS lost about 60% of it's buildings and Branson, Mo got hit by a tornado. Remember last May, Joplin, MO got his by that F-5. That's 30 miles from me.

It sucks, but it's what we have to deal with. The coasts get hurricanes, the central region gets tornados and the north gets blizzards. No one is safe from North American weather lol

Riley, I think we are all going to be experiencing changes in weather patterns for a few years to come as earth is going through some changes herself at this time. It is all quite normal though, here is an introduction to earths electromagnetic processes:

further reading is optional, but the above should help I hope.
