Since I'm changing my "Fender 57 Reissue Maple Neck Stratocaster Made In Japan Since 1993" 's original pickup to "Lindy Fralin's Blues Special Pickup" set. I was thinking, should I get the pickup in black color and change the volume knob and switch selector to black as well and give my strat a "Tuxedo look". Or should I get the pickup in white color and stick with the original "Traditional look"?

I would tell you what I think. But just out of curiosity and wanna get opinions from different points of view. Choosing from your own taste, and with your personal preference, which look would you prefer?

Traditional Look (This is my stratocaster):

OR

Tuxedo Look (Thinking of this look as the traditional look is quite common):

both are great looks! i don't think you can go wrong with either.

should you change your pickguard, however, the story changes. my strat is lp blue/maple neck. i decided to put on a white pearloid pick guard in. the white knobs didn't look good, so i found some chrome ones on ebay, and some chrome pup covers too. it probably would not have looked good with black knobs either.
