I don't know how many of you V-Pick users realize you can get your V-Picks personalized. I finally came up with a design that I wanted on my V-Picks. It's the same design that I am using on my guitars that have truss rod covers.

Now that is cool Chet, I like that a lot. I got a V pickguard with my initials on it, for my lp. I'll be mailing Vinny soon I think

I've got a few V-picks but really can't make my mind up about them. In some ways i like them but i remain unconvinced. I use the large pointed, the snake and the Santana model. The best picks i've used are the herco thumb/flat combo shaped like a flatpick and worn like a thumb and you don't need to regrip them and they can't fall! 8)

I also go back and forth on whether I like the tone I get with the V picks. Sometimes I like it, other times I think my strings sound dead with them.

Very cool! I had no idea you could have V-Picks customized.

I've tried several and own several, and I actually like their tone. The only thing I haven't gotten used to is using the "raking" technique with them. But they make lead playing faster, easier and cleaner for me. They are a little slippery though, but like they say on the website, rising them off every now and then helps with that.

Also, they do have a grippy one. It's called the Euro.

I have one and it's my favorite.

And that's part of the problem, they're supposed to be extra grippy :?: i also find the tone is kind of muddy and lacks definition. They are also far too expensive for something as everyday as a pick.

I kind of wonder if it's just a gimmick? maybe, maybe not as i said i can't make up my mind about them. Some days i like them other days i hate them.
