Okay we all have that one song that whenever we hear it makes us cringe or howl in despair no matter where we are or what we're doing. Mine came about after having to play it at wedding gigs, consistently it was the couples request for "their" dance. I refuse to allow it to be played in presence any more....the song was "We've Only Just Begun" by the Carpenters. Anyone who played gigs in wedding bands back in the day knows what I'm reffering too. Anyway let's hear your horror stories.

This doesn't come from my playing days but it seemed there was a couple year span where there was alot of weddings we attended for family etc.

Celebrate by Kool & the Gang, bleah, gotta be the worst or close to it.

Neil Diamond was not someone I listened to when I was a teen but he sure has grown on me since. His early stuff, 6 or 7 outstanding compositions, the rest I can life without.

"Bennie and the Jets" makes me change the station pronto!

The song MacArthur Park makes me wretch especially the Richard Harris.I absolutely abhor anything done by the 5th Dimension especially Aquarius,I can't change stations fast enough.Anything by 3 of Canada's favourite songstresses- Shania Twain,Anne Murray and Rita McNeil aka Eat A Big Meal-turns me right off.I can't listen to almost all heavvy metal,it just sounds like a dischordant cacaphony to me.Rap is just as repulsive also as is hip hop.
