Heyyyyyyyyyyy just because I am not 'attached' doesn't mean I am strange or 'un-straight'...... I certainly DO love the Ladies! I met plenty out on the road but I didn't get to gig the same clubs often enough to 'settle down' and just got use to my bachelorhood.... otherwise known as RMF: or 'Responsible Monetary Freedom'.... LOL

I hadn't thouight of that connotation. Being a single woman lover myself, I'd never go around opening a can of worms like that. I meant "straight line" like "He has a wonderful Falsetto voice." to which Groucho replies ,"Not to mention his False Set-o-Teeth".

 You aren't an old Coot........ you're just a regular Hoot!
FYI: If you never grew your hair over your ears &/or down past your shoulders, you have no idea how many nervous, shorter-follicled 'Macho' dudes tend to jump to the limp-wristed conclusion ..... funny, but of ALL the 'happy' fellows I ever ran into in the last half-century, I can't say I remember any who actually grew their own locks.... bought, maybe, but then I'm NOT that well acquainted with such details of their life-style. I just know that my 1966 U.S. Military super-buzz wasn't ME. Balled, yes - Bald, no! hehehehe

Sorry if I offened any fuzz-challenged reading this, but I'm not to blame for such situations. Please look it up under Genetics: DNA ...... Thank You

I'm not old yet, but I'm working on it. It's funny you should mention it, Short haired guys always jump to that conclusion, until I start hanging around thier Girlfriends or Wives, then suddenly they're absolutly sure I'm a threat, and not to thier Mandhood. I actully cut my hair short once and got fewer dates. The girls I like, like long hair.

A scenario much like my own and no doubt, common to most of 'us' guys, especially rockers. From what I've seen in CNY, the only young long-hairs are mostly into 80's metal &/or 'deth' metal, hard rock & new progressive country-rock. Sure, there's always exceptions either way, such as Willy on one hand or newer Metallica on the other. However, everyone has a look that best fits them & their personality-character-persona. (Ever see OLD pics of Willy?) LOL ... We must remember that there are women who get hot for military types and those who swoon over the Fabio kind of man. Sadly, such triggers in the female include 'bad boys' no matter how much hair a man does or doesn't have to shampoo & comb. One thing that has been a total mystery to me is why any woman expects to be treated well by 'dangerous' dudes. Logically it makes no sense, but then, that's women.

Wow..... I am really surprised that no one has replied since I posted the above. Why? Is it a hot potato or what? LOL

I think it's more that you've gone far off-topic and aren't making a whole pile of sense at this point.

Doesn't really seem to matter, does it? When I was ON topic I got flack & tried to avoid being 'shot at' in text.... so it seems there were ideas and issues that got mentioned which were a little less controversial &/or not against most people's grain and even that's not working very well. As they say, the "casualties of war aren't all who wage it...." LOL

Either way, I dig long hair. Always have. I'll cut my hair short once I get bald enough to look ridiculous with long hair.

 Nawwwww Just move to Hawai'i...... who's going to notice the Hula Skirt there?..... Of course, if you're too tall and they aren't drunk enough, they may realize it's on your head! hehehe..... & As long as you aren't in a clown suit & your hair's not red & curly, nobody'll even mention Bozo. :P

Hmm...A Rock and Roll Clown. Now that's a proffession I could sink my "Chattering Teeth" into. Perverted Baloon Animals and a Flower that squirts Jack Daniels.

I say "go for it".... but just remember that some UK piano guy in a Donald Duck suit has done something similar as well as one of his friends they call Ziggy who sprinkles Stardust and is into Martian Spiders. Stateside, we've got a foursome that has enjoyed such theatrics since the 70's..... BUT I don't think I've ever seen ANY photo of them in which FENDER was used... have you? Methinks they'd have done far better if they'd named the band: SM@@CH, LOL

Peter Gabriel did the "reverse mohawk" thing back in the mid 70's. Shaved his head right down the middle, about 4 inches wide. Back then I though that was pretty cool. Of course I didn't have the nerve to try that myself. Only rock stars and kids having "look at me" ego problems get away with that stuff.

My Ex Girlfriend was into GWAR. Now that's a Costume Parade. She had a Video of them fighting the Morality Squad we watched about 100 times and I can't remember how any of the tunes go. The things we do for Love

I'll stick to Loud Shirts, Dockers, and Dress Shoes for my Stage Presence. Leave the Clown Act for the Next Generation.

Speaking of 'stage outfits'.... over the years I've had to deal with 4:
1) My favorite & most common is a black T w/ white logo such as "Fender" and black pants (either jeans or leather) and black boots. (Most Comfy)
2) A basic suit for certain business parties & corporate jobs.
3) A Black Tux w/ white shirt (for Wedding receptions & New Years)
4) Whatever else for Halloween gigs and beach parties, etc.

I must say, I wonder what Flea would list as a "zero" outfit; a watch? LOL
