Well said.
They should have called it the "Storecaster", and reissued the Fender Starcaster.

OK folks..... let's see if we can put a tag on the worst piece of junk git-fiddle you happened to encounter in this life. (Did Superman's adoptive parents start an electrified stringed oar company, or is the moniker just a coincidence?) Note: I am aware of these 2 things..... many garbage can stew mixers had no discernible label or brand name and that most of the crappy carved logs were slapped together back in the 60's on some island in the Pacific. >>> You couldn't squeeze out ANY version of Eric Burdon & the Animals' first US hit on those 2 by 4's even if you were promised a 6-dozen Geisha bath & massage for doing so...... then again, maybe you'd qualify for a prize if you don a Zorro hat & shades while performing.... LOL
BTW: Was it just in my nightmare or was there actually a song called Suki Yaki Rocki ?

This is the worst Colonel Potter impersonation I ever heard, or should I say read. Are you saying you don't like Goucho Hats?

As I stated on the previous page:
Quote:
..... if a reference or word is included that the reader doesn't relate to, the point only opens a hole in the balloon........

My point wasn't about the accoutrements. Apparently you have never seen (nor heard of) Esteban.... a late night TV infomercial selling guitars with a 'learn to play in just a few days' lessons package.... AS IF....

BTW: Thanks for the compliment, but I wasn't impersonating anyone. More good news..... I think you can drop the 'in training' now, since I do believe the mortar on the brick has dried & you have graduated. Just remember to flip your tassel.

Esteban cracks me up. Dude's not even a great guitar player. Sort of the Ron Popeil of guitarists.

Want a mind blower, Esteban is actually on tour. Do you suppose people are listening to him? :?

P.S. The Colonel Potter crack was meant to be funny, but I forgot to include the proper Emoticon. Sorry.

That's OK........ funny satire & such can sometimes get lost in translation. While you were posting your reply, I was editing & adding to my post:

I am sure such light-hearted jabs won't draw blood.

That's as funny as it gets, since it takes a Master to graduate a student  . I would never give if I couldn't take.

Wow.... I went from a full-bird Potter to a Master? Well.... OK...
So.... what's the follow-up? You forgot to add "-bater?"

Be nice if I could say it was even half-applied to my guitar playing, but no, the best I can confess to is being a Master in my own home. (Take note all youse with significant others: I can only be somewhat confident in that statement because I am -currently- single, even though it never makes any sense, eh?....... or is that "sensei" ?) Allll - rite - y Zen! :P

PS: I haz lernt watt kin bee punny.... it "Depends" on the poop! hehehe

I suppose if you were asked to walk a "straight line" you'd make a joke out of it. :)

One foot one each line should get you down there.
