Don't go with the iPod unless it is only for background music. For dancing, use a DJ or a band. They will know how to read the crowd and keep everybody on their feet and having fun. The guests at most weddings are multi-generational and they won't all appreciate your taste in music.

I agree with the point of using a band,that way you are supporting your local musicians.

"Our Song" at our wedding was Besame Mucho (Spanish for kiss me much) and IMHO opinion no one does it better than James Booker, New Orleans pianist extraordinaire. If you have never heard him give him a listen. One of the best piano players of all time. Did session work for everyone...

And it's still "Our Song!"

Glad you liked it. Good thing is if you're ever at a Mexican restaurant and a mariachi band comes in, most of them know it so you can always surprise her and have them play (and usually sing) the song from your wedding. :wink:
