Why doesn't Fender make a few more standard American production models with ash bodies? I'd go out right away and get one-especially if it had a Floyd rose and 12-16 compound radius. Come on Fender, PLEASE?. Oh yeah, BTW, needs dual humbuckers.

Why aren't more people DIY guitar techs. Also, you could go to Warmoth and get a Floyd/Swimming pool route and a blacktop pickguard. Then you could just buy a neck with your radius. Not everyone wants a guitar like that. I wouldn't even take one of those for free.

Ash: Because Ash is more expensive and requires grain filler (more labor and material costs). That's why it's usually reserved for finishes where you can see the grain (natural, sunburst, etc...).
Floyd Rose/ Compound Radius/Dual Humbuckers: Because FMIC owns Jackson/Charvel.
