Here is what you need to do:
1) Take her to an authentic Italian restaurant.
2) Even though what she's saying isn't interesting at all, you say, "Wow, that is very interesting. Please tell me more."
3) When she stops yappin' again, say "Wow, I've never thought of it that way before, but you're right."
4) When she finally shuts her trap again, I want you to repeat whatever she said, and then follow it with "Wow, how insightful."

In my experience these gals ain't all the sugar and spice they'd have you believe.
Pretending that he's a innocent, holier than thou JW may work. She'll want to corrupt him!

Playing the "strong silent type" only works if your really good looking and the girls come to you regardless. If your challenged in that department your going to have to muster up your courage.

Don't try and be something your not, ultimately she will figure out your a fraud and you will feel like a jerk. However, a lot of women are attracted to loud, self centered jerks and "bad boy a-holes".
But no woman is worth making yourself into one of those guys.

If your really shy, like I am, its a challenge. It might be better to just buy her a single flower and hand it to her and not say anything.
She might be suprised and pleased, you will find out soon enough is she is interested.

The mind and imagination teamed up with hormones are powerful decievers. Many is the time I thought some gal liked me and it was all in my head and in my hormones. Win some loose some.

You will be OK regardless.

I'm buying a bright red moped, 2 seater, ofc, and a pickelhaube as my helmet. Does that count as badass?

I don't know, dude. Legally, I don't need a license for it.

Unless he is a handsome Italian-speaking guy with great hair tooling through the streets of Rome, any man on a moped looks like Pee-Wee Herman.

...and the Italian guy on the moped will be marginalized when his cousin pulls up in an Alpha-Romeo.

...Alpha-Romeo Man will be ignored for the guy in the Ferrarri.

Develop a personality; "stuff" alone will not permanently win a woman's heart. If it does, you constantly gotta worry that there's somebody with better stuff.

 i thought this thread died ages ago.

ok, if you must know, being the shy guy i am, foolishly enough i haven't talked to her one on one. i have been getting involved in class discussions and aggreeing with (most) of her opinions and commenting on them. spose thats a start. i found out that she's already in a serious relationship thats been going for like a year or something, but that doesn't stop me from trying to become just friends with her. i still can not stop thinking about her though.
and yes im pretty sure shes aware that i play guitar

Was more or less a joke. I'm actually getting a moped to go to work and have some fun on the side. Sadly, there isn't enough space in the back, so my fun has its limits

Forget that friends nonsense. She's either giving up the goodies or your moving on to the next victim.

Thats the way I'd have been looking at it at your age Riley.

In all seriousness, she ain't interested. If she was, she'd have dropped the other bloke like a steaming jobbie. Don't let the grass grow under your feet.

:( Sorry to hear, but at least now you know. I agree that it you should move on. Being friends with a girl in a relationship leads to be used and rarely seen as anything but a friend. If you want to be her friend then fine, but don't expect to ever be anything more.

Yup move on bro. If she leaves this guy for you, chances are she's the type of person that will do the same to you down the road.

Let their relationship run its course, if it ends then so be it, but that's beyond your control and something you don't want to interfere in. Time to move on.
