The future is what you make of it. Set goals for your self and see to it to reach those goals. All those you mentioned had goals for themselves and were acomplishing them. They got side tracked with the distractions set in their way and we know what happened from there. Don,t get distracted. Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday Nevin, don't focus on that 27 thing, a lot of people became famous later in their life. And a lot of people never needed fame to live a rich and meaningful life.

Happy belated Nevin, and you know ..... there are thousands more musicians who are NOT on that Wiki-27-List. That's just something some goof thought of one day to get people excited. I'm sure if some research was done you'd find musos dying at all sorts of ages and in enough numbers to give someone the ammunition to invent some other numbered club. Here's an idea. We'll start the 7's club, you and I. We'll do the research and find all the musos who died at 17, 27, 37, and so on. Then we'll give musos still alive the chance to join the club and predict the date of their death, discuss various ways to die, investigate suspicious evidence found at death scenes, put up profiles, post pics and give status reports. Look out Mark Zuckerberg!! Here we come!! DeathBook is on the rise.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

I have not been playing much guitar lately. Recently picked it up and tried to play some old Van Halen... Hot For Teacher riffs.... man I am so out of practice.

Hoping things get better career wise. I feel trapped in a rut now. Trying to save for a home but I am always 2 steps behind financially it seems.

Not much time for the forum lately. Been focusing on Gibson stuff... don't know why.

Thanks everyone. Have a good day.

Happy Birthday - don't worry Eddie doesn't play it that well either these days. :?
