I've been putting a couple electric guitars up for a few weeks, an old Kent and a Teisco. Both are in excellent condition and rare. I've included my phone #, email, large pics, detailed description, solid title, low price. I've even had people call and talked them but then they don't show up. It's a mystery why some killer things don't sell. It's gets frustrating waiting around

Have any luck selling on Craigslist or any tips?

I`ve sold guitars and other items on Craigslist within hours. And there were a few occasions when I posted something and got a buyer within the first 20 minutes. I guess it depends on what your selling and what market is out there for that item. Lately I`ve noticed nothing but scamers on that web site. I`m an artist and have some oil paintings for sale and the people that inquire want to send a certified check, want you to ship the item, and want your personal information where to send the check to. Be aware of buyers like that cause they just want to rob you. Do a cash only deal and local pick up. Maybe you should trade them in to a local music store. At least you`d know your dealing with people you could trust even if you get a little less for them. Good luck and I hope you sell your guitars soon.

Its because you are selling a "Kent" and a "Teisco"... And not many people care about rare Kents/Teiscos...
if you put them on Ebay you have an astronomically larger audience.... that may know some information on Kent's and Teisco's....

You would have better luck selling a Squier Strat...

I've gotten some interest in the last day. Thanks for the help, I guess it's just a local thing and people being poor. Asking only $95 for the Teisco. I think a Teisco/MIJ under $120 is a good deal. Here are pics/demos..
