People, this afternoon I went nuts in my bedroom because of this.

I was trying to find that slightly distorted blues sound but I couldn't get close to it.
I tried everything from low mids to high trebles. Everything and couldn't find what I wanted!

Could anyone give me a little help with this? What are some of the EQ settings you guys use? I have a Roland Cube 80XL.

Thanks for the help :)

Think it has more to do with your pickup type and gain settings on your amp. Single coils a little more gain than what would be required for humbuckers. Try an overdrive pedal. I prefer the Fulltone OCD, but the Boss SD-1 is a good alternative and for $40 it's hard to beat.

For what it's worth, my settings are bass = 10, Mid = 6, Treb = 7. This will vary by ear and amp. I'm using a Peavey Classic 50.
