Hi everyone: friends and colleagues! My name's Alex. Let me share my new song with you, which I recorded last month with my Italian colleague. The genre I'd determine as "pop rock of the end of the '90" (Like Roxette or Bryan Adams). I'd be glad to hear some critique from you. Also that would be great if someone of you advised me the way to promote it (appropriate websites or something else). Thank you in advance!

Here we go: http://soundcloud.com/alexander-sharapo ... g-covato-a

Best regards, Alex!

Some remarks from Finland:
Fine wall of guitars, real and sounding voice of singer; perhaps no after tuning?, rolls nicely forward, I heard in some points Roxette and also little ELO...
chorus was little too "thinked" for my taste; add some decorations with guitar inside chorus, if you have such much guitars one more is not too much ;)

Anyway: Fine!

Alex, your song sounds good, perhaps you didn't know how 90's it is. Here is a song from 93 that yours reminded me of:
Mind Bomb - Daisy Chain

Alex, that band was actually more popular in Europe than America. Their shows in Europe back then all were sold out. In America they did well on the west coast and the south. Their album sold over 100,000 copies but the record company dropped them soon after the world tour. Matt Mercado has a new project now called "Cosmic Fury" and he has his recording studio here in Chicago, FYI in case in the future you look for a producer to help you in a pop music way. You obviously have a song writing talent, looking forward to hearing you again. Best Wishes, SBLS
