My favorite performing acts tonight were:
#1 (Bonnie Raitt & Alichia Keys) doing Ettas old song "Sunday Kind of Love" Wow!
#2 (Taylor Swift) and her Bangitar/Guitjo. Very Cool song " why Do You Have To Be So Mean".

I didn't watch it. Did they scramble to fit something of Whitney on it in time?

I enjoyed the Bonnie Raitt performance, the guitar fest at the end, Sir Paul could shred with the best of 'em. I'm a big fan of Joe but his finger picking technique on Sir Paul's new song could use some work.

Not a fan of awards period! don't see the point, just a bunch of smug people patting each other on the back. Pretty pointless.

Flipped channels between the hockey game and the awards show. From what I caught..

Foo Fighters were great
I was impressed by Taylor Swift
Beach Boys tribute was a good performance
Adelle sang her heart out and sounded great,
but I was not impressed with the guitar jam at the end of the show.

Sir Paul, Joe, Dave and the other two guitarists weren't bad. Bruce sounded like crap in my opinion. His guitar was out of tune or he was just playing sloppy. Very disappointed.

Oh yeah and to all the lipsync hacks, get off the STAGE!!!! If I want to watch a bunch of fools dance around and lip sync I'll you tube an old Milli Vanilli video.

I liked McCartney doing the Beatles songs, especially "The End" with guitarists Bruce Springstein, Joe Walsh, Dave Grohl, and I'm forgetting somebody.

Fell asleep in the middle of the show, but woke up in time to catch the last 45 mins.

Best

1. Bonnie Raitt and Alicia Keys... Tribute to Etta James
2. Paul McCartney.. Valentine and Abbey Rd medley
3. Bruno Mars - slick performance
4. Taylor Swift - great song choice, even without Kanye West there!
5. Jennifer Hudson .. Whitney tribute
6. Tony Bennett ... Although I didn't like how Carrie's voice blended with his.
7. Beach Boys reunion tribute

Worst

1. Adele...not my cup of tea
2. Foo Fighters... Come on... Who can't scream and play power chords?
3. Coldplay... Good band... Really lame song
4. Deadmau5 (dead mouse)
5. Springsteen - missed the big man, song was just okay

Only walked by when my wife was watching it and saw Glen Campbell sing "Rhinestone Cowboy." I thought it was a dang good performance. Only comment would be that it would have been better if he ditched the backup singers and just sung the chorus himself.
