I saw a fabulous guitar a week ago and I wanted to know more about it... but I couldn´t find nothing on the web more than it is handmade in Switzerland. Is there anybody here that can give me some more info? I took some pictures for you to see, looks great and it sounded great too. HELP! :)

Is anyone else seeing a jack socket on the back? Crazy.

The NICE guitars website is fairly light of content http://www.niceguitars.ch/.

wow, haven't seen that guitar for a while. I only built one of those. I had planned to launch it as the N.I.C.E. Stylemaster, but then changed my mind. Alder body, curly maple top, Steven Kersting pickups, made with Alnico II pickups like in a regular strat-style single coil.
Not sure anymore about the fingerboard, could have been pau ferro instead of rosewood. Would need a good close-up.

I've closed down the brand n.i.c.e. guitars a good year and a half ago. Planning to launch a new brand soon, in a few months. I won't write more about that now since I'm not familiar with the rules yet.

where did you find that guitar?

Best wishes

Alex

I'm not sure that OP is still around to reply.

hey there.

i am a beginner with the guitar. on google i have seen the picture of this beauty.
in this moment i was shure: a guitar from alex rodanovic is my wish for christmas 2013.
but where to find?
i am looking every day at ebay and ricardo/switzerland.
ten days ago i found this guitar named TWIN ACE, created by alex in the year 2006.
pictures you can found on: http://www.photo.net/photos/angeloliechti
the specifications are: body - maple, neck thrue the body - maple, pu - gibson 490r + 498t,
one volume and one tone.
SHE IS WHISPERING AND ROARING. SHE IS MY NEW LOVE, MY NEW LIFE. THANKS, ALEX.

sorry for my bad english.

thanks to all. angelo

I think that's a bad bit of design right there, the plastic will give a little as the jack is plugged in and out, the plug is likely to dig into your thigh and I imagine it'll just feel cheap and nasty.

That's to say the plug will feel cheap and nasty. Not your thigh.

Given that it points upwards, I assume it is meant to be used with a transmitter, not a cable.

Even with a transmitter there's got to be a cable from the jack socket to the belt pack. This looks like it's more a design choice just to look different, not for any practical purpose.

No, that's not a given. Many transmitters are integrated with the plug.
