Although I am a Jack White fan, skip to 5:50 to hear Seasick Steve. It's cool how he just enjoys playing for the sake of the music.

Seasick Steve is the real McCoy,he does what he does and marches to his own drummer- he's one cool cat.

I wonder if he prefers the tone of the silver duct tape over the red duct tape?
Steve and Pinecone Fletcher should do a duet, that would be a hoot.

Yep, I'm already a fan. His album "Man from another time" is great. 8)

He likes the three string electrics, usually very cheap models. Steve also plays Cigar box guitars as well as the one string Diddly Bow.
Nothing pretentious about this guy, just pure soul.

......Mark.

He plays a lot of cigar box guitars, most of them are either 3 or 4 string. They were around long before he was. LOL Real easy to build. http://www.cigarboxnation.com/

Fenders rule but everybody needs a cigar box guitar too, they're a blast! I totally suck at woodworking so my wife got me one for xmas, it's undergoing "improvements" right now.

i watched that vh1 classic show it might get loud jack white made a guitar at the begining with a board, nails and a glass coke bottle and nailed a pickup to it, strung one wire to it, and played slide. it seems ol' jack likes the uncomplicated stuff. thats refreshing with all the crap were fed this day and time.

Just when you think there aren't that many originals left.
Seasick F in Steve introduces himself to your world
Of music.
Gotta commend jack white for discovering him,
Ive seen some other YouTube videos and man,
he knows ho to put a show, without any fancy licks or
hooks, just music oozing out of his soul.
