Can someone give me a quick rundown of what Drive Select and Drive volume are on my Fender Amp. I'm new to playing guitar and just bought a new practice amp. There is no information about this on this site at all.

Thanks for any help you can give.

I'm not sure of the amp you are speaking of, but it seems to me that Drive Select is the button you push to select whther you want to use the clean or the drive (distortion) channel on your amp, and the Drive volume is the volume for the drive channel...if its not that, then its the knob you use to select how much distortion you want....

Thanks for the reply. I have a Frontman 15G. I have had it for a day or so. I will try that out. I didn't notice much distortion with the setting being pushed. But I will give it a good run through tonight. I'm still learning. I'm sure the gain will probably have to be cranked up also to get the distorted sound. I will follow up with the results.

Thanks again

You should also have a "Gain" knob. That's for the amount of distortion you want. The drive volume knob will be used to adjust the volume after you select the drive switch.
