Just another video of a little improv I did today. I've been playing since July 2011 but I've added some new things, worked on the phrasing and the soul of my blues playing. I think it turned out pretty good despite some mistakes. Any feedback is very welcome and appreciated! Thank you very much and I hope you enjoy it!

Oh, yeah! Also, could you please comment on my tone? I was messing around with the EQ the other day and I came across that sound, which sounds good to me. What's your opinion?

I thought it was very good for the length of time you've been playing.
Personally though, I would prefer a harder sound off the bridge pup when you come to the aggresive phrasing, to give it more attack and sustain, better to have light and shade in your tone and hard and soft dynamics in your playing.
Impressive though, very good. 8)

Would you suggest using the two channels of the amp? The clean one for the first part and the other channel to the aggresive part, with more gain than the video's?
Thank you!

Yeah you could try that but perhaps not too much gain, you want a hard overdriven sound without too much distortion. Try everything you've got and experiment, which is what I think you are doing and strive to create as much tonal variation as you can and use it in your playing style. This is of course just my personal opinion and preference.

I know, I know, but everyone's opinion is what makes my own. The tips and pieces of advice I get from these videos are crucial in becoming a better player. I get what I like the most out of what I hear and then create my own sounds and style. Thanks a lot! I gotta try that one!

funny... not sure why this board and all other guitar related boards spend 90% of the time talking about gear, and here we have one guy wanting some honest feedback on his music and we have barely any replies... really sad if you ask me...

Just curious... what kind of string gauge are you using ?

If I make any constructive feedback rodvx, my apologies, I will have to do it via private message... Last time I gave honest feedback, I got attacked on this site...

By the way, you have a lot of good things going on with your playing, you should be proud...

But first answer what string gauge you are using...
