Don Cornelius, seemed like one of those forever young kind of guys, like dick Clark in many ways. His work with kids and music was instrumental in bringing together the kids of diverse racial and cultural backgrounds although his work was very effective, we still have a long way to go. R.I.P. Mr. Cornelius we will miss you. :(

It was sad news for me when I heard it. I used to watch Soul Train in the early 80's before i really got into the Metal scene. The news here stated it was a self-inflicted gun wound that killed him, but nothing more specific than that.
