3, Precision Bass guitars, 1 Fender - Squier Series and 2 Squier - by Fender, Red, Black and Arctic White. Each has it's own distinct sound and growl as do all Fender designed Precision Bass guitars.

here are 2 of them: Image

Squier Standard Fat Strat, Black and Chrome

My first electric... humbucker plus single coils equals tons of tones! I would reccommend this guitar without reservation.

I found a Squier Strat at a thrift store for $25.
It had no markings or labels on the headstock,
but there was a number in the neck pocket that puts it made in Indonesia in 2002.
(one of these days, I'll figure out how to post pictures on this board).

Except for the tiniest blemish in the lacquer near the neck pickup,
it was flawless.
Bright red with bright white pick guard and (what looks like a) rosewood fretboard.
It looked like some kind of piece of candy or a toy.
(and I'm not going to say what it sounded like).

First thing I did was replace the factory pickups with Fender "Noiseless".
Drilled new holes in the headstock to accommodate Fender locking tuners.
Replaced pickguard, knobs, and trem-spring cover with black.
Re-shaped the headstock to more closely resemble a MIM or MIA Strat.
Stained the neck/headstock with Danish oil.
Re-strung with Fender pure nickel medium gauge strings.
Did a thorough set-up.

It actually looks, sounds, and plays not half-bad now, and is great to have around for a spare.

I have a 09 Squier Tele Custom II that is a really good sounding and playing guitar. I hate to admit it but I've never had a Strat and had a itch for one and did some research and decided on Squier Standard because of the 2 point tremolo and AlNiCo pups. Last wek I picked up an 04 Antiqueburst with 3 single coisl and a rosewood fretboard. The guy had it on CL for $125. I have really enjoyed it so far and think the stanadard is a steal for the price. It plays and sounds great as well.
