I started taking lessons in the mid 70's and still need them! I fell in love with the sound, the look, every thing about these beautiful 6 strings works of art. :D

I've had a guitar since I was 8 , but I got serious at 16. First With the Bass, then an Acoustic. Then I started playing my Dads Vantage Avenger so much, my parents got me my First Stratocaster. That was all in the 80's, I was proud as punch to have the only classic guitar amongst all of those pointy Rich's and Kramers with one pick up.

Florecent to the Left of me, Day Glow to the Right. My Olympic White Stratocaser sure stood out in the crowd.

I've been playing since I started... :)

I tried to teach myself when I was 11, that didn't work so I started lessons when I was 12.

I started playing in 1958 and picked it up and put it down more times than I can remember. But right now I`m back into it like never before so I`m happy to have my interest renewed again.

6 years. I got my first playable guitar when I was 10. I had breaks in between, but when I turned 12 I really got serious with it and have been since.

I started playing in 1962 but was sort of on and off until 2000. Been playing as much as I can since then.

Been playing Bass for 19 years. Just picked up guitar for 6 months now. Yeah, I know I'm a rookie.

'Bought a cheap Harmony Jazzmaster copy in late '65 and the first decent one in '68.

Still in love with the istrument in a number of its guises. What a magnificent family of instruments and associated 'stuff'!!!!!!

Played in the 60's and 70's
Misplaced it for corporate voodoo in the 80's & 90's
Now found it again in the mid 2k's, and don't plan to put it down till my fingers fall off.

30 years last August, back when feathered lizards were learning to fly, and sand was the size of a golf ball!
