Hi all,

I have a Fernandes Native X - it's got a tele p/u configuration- and i just bought a texas spcl pickup for the neck position. I know i sound dumb saying this but i know also fender has it's trade-mark ground wire... is the yellow my ground and would it be best to solder it to my output jack directly?

Ziggy

The black wire is the ground wire. You should be fine soldering it to one of the pots. If you solder it to the output jack, you'll probably have to extend the wire.

Yellow is an isolated ground wire, usually hooked to the bridge, black is a standard ground and white is hot. Hope that helps

Is there an advantage to sodering to the output jack?
