Well, today went to Guitar Center, yes again, during my lunch break and happened to plug into this distortion pedal. Its the Seymour Duncan Power Grid. This thing is built like a German Tiger Tank, and pretty heavy, 95% of it is 16 gauge metal, you wouldn't want to be under this guy during an earth quake. Anyways, this pedal has a thick, heavy distortion, but not at all mushy and muddy. Its got three active tone controls and the tone and control features remind me of an 80s Marshall Gov'nor distortion pedal. Has anyone tried this pedal out yet? GC has many of the SD pedals on clearance. The power grid was $49. So far, I've purchased three SD pedals in two days [flapper] [flapper] [flapper]
