Has anyone seen these? Looks like they will be at NAMM. I'm diggin' on the black one!

They are quite a departure from the norm! Nonetheless, they are very cool. I agree, I like the black one, especially the concealed pickups. That F logo in the pickguards is pretty cool too.

But these are concepts, so instead of being future models, aren't they more of a taste of what could be to come, in terms of more new and unique/original guitars, and also a gauge for Fender to see how people would react if they made guitars like this?

Whatever they are, they are very cool :D

This is like the original Marauder  Well, technology has improved in the past 40 or so years. I want a demo.

The black one is a bit tacky, but I quite like the natural one.

Now thats one beautiful guitar/Two guitars. I like them both. The black one is like the Sexy bad girl and the natural one is like a beautiful blond. If they sound and play as good as they look they'll be keepers for sure. I'd like to hold'em both in my arms.
----Danny,

Someone mentions on that page a matching headstock in the comments section. I would agree with that as well.

Nevin brings up a good point. I can't say I've had too much experience with "stealth" pickups as it's used here. But it would be kinda cool to see adjustable screws coming out of the pickguard itself (blond guitar). Probably never happen, but it would be a trip.

I'm more for the black one.

Why do the words Star Trek keep coming to my brain when I see these? Is that the concept going on here? Anyway.. Pretty cool.
