Take a dollar bill and tie a long fishing line to it and hide on the other end. When someone attempts to pick it up give it a jerk. The unsuspecting person will S%#@ themselves. and you and whoever else is in on the gag will probably die laughing.

----Danny,

I did this on my last fishing/camping trip. We had the perfect cover too. Under my friend's dad's 1987 Chevy work van.

A bank note sticking out from beneath the wheel of a parked car is a good one. See how long people are prepared to hang around for the car owner (you) to come back and drive it away. Obviously, when you do your friend is with you to retrieve the money first - to the frustration of anyone patiently waiting...

Mua-a-a-a-hahaha!

Cheers - C

You are the one example of pure evil I can think of.

Another silly version of the same trick is. Picture this, Your driving in your car late at night and you see a ladies purse lying in the road. you stop and attempt to pick it up expecting to find it full of money or something. Some Joker has it tied to a string and gives it a jerk and !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!OH S#$%    This actually happened to my first wife and I many years ago. She actually tried to chase it. When she realised that the damn thing actually moved she screamed bloody murder and I think she is still running somewhere.

I did something similar but I used a dead 3ft snake.
On a week long fishing trip, I found a rather large snake, dead I might add, so tied a length of line to it's head and buried it under the fishing guides chair...
Well after dinner we all sat and had a beer and that is when I pulled the prank.
Slowly at first I tugged the line then little jerks until he glanced down and saw it.
Man, I have never ever seen anyone do such a perfect backflip, shoulder roll and straight into a run...... Hysterical is not the word.
Well what do think with a bunch of Scousers and a Mancunian on a fishing trip, one of the best weeks fishing ever.
