It is being reported that Etta James passed away this morning.

I would like to have seen Jennifer Hudson in that role. As for the film, see if you can find yourself a copy of "Spinning Blues Into Gold"-The Chess Brothers and The Legendary Chess Records by Nadine Cohodas St. Martin's Press, NY; 2000. It's a bio of Leonard and Phil Chess and their contribution to the music we all love.
