Only just seen this. I wasn't aware of any problem. Last I read recovery from leg surgery was going good.

Steve I know it's not a priority but if you happen across this, please know that my best wishes go with you.

Just want to let everyone know that I emailed the address that we have on file with KCfireball's profile over a week ago mentioning that a number of folks here have been expressing concern. I unfortunately did not hear anything back in reply to said email. :-(

 I Googled "Steve Wilcox Kansas City" (Gladstone is a suburb of Kansas City) and found this:

http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/kansascity/obituary.aspx?n=steven-e-wilcox&pid=156736398&fhid=6338

While the obit could be for a different Steve Wilcox, looking at KCfireball's MySpace page confirms that he was in a KC band called the Fireballs(http://www.myspace.com/StevenEWilcox), just like the Steve Wilcox in the obit.

I have a sinking feeling the KCfireball would have given us an update by now if he was able to.

Brad, can we contribute, send a wreath to the grave or something.

I'm pissed off. He was one of ours, a good un. And hearing his stuff on myspace, Fireball was the right name for him.

Now he's gone cos of some arsehole disease.

Shoot, that's terrible. :-( Certainly if anyone here is able to get in contact with the family so we can provide some sort of support I'd be all for it.

Perhaps one might be able to work backwards through the obituary link.
