My new SG guitar is perfect except for it sounds very staticy as though i have a distortion on, but the sound is clean. Like theres a faint annoying buzzing. Its 6 years old, and i already took some sand paper to the female jack to clean it for rust, and that helped little. Ive noticed when I go to touch the cable it silences it. I have already tested it with multiple amps, cables, and without my pedals. Nothing to my knowledge is wrong with anything so Im guessing its a problem beyond what I can see. Please help

You probably have a bad ground connexion in the guitar. Sanding the jack is not a good idea, it will rust an be worst with time.
Could need a new jack ? Did you're jack turn, is loose sometimes ? This could break the wire.

Can you look inside , where are electronic and send us a photo ?

Idk i checked everything else, so it has to be the guitar, and yes the jack turns, like i said when i touch it it ceases to buzz
