Well it finally arrived. Snnnnow, the funny thing is that folks around here don't know how to act or drive. there slipping and sliding around and running into each other, all over the place. It's funny to watch, and of coarse all the kids are haveing a great time playing in it. My sympathy to those that don't enjoy going out. From this window alone this morning I've seen one car sliding down the hill out of control, one of those slow motion things. again in slow motion, two cars haveing a corn field meet at the corner near my driveway. and my poor neighbor fell flat on his back. As his wife attempted to help him up, down she went. Thank god they weren't hurt they both got up laughing and brushed themselves off and continued on there way. right now it's snowing little tiny flakes, so hard that you cant see across the lake It's a beautiful place to be right now and a wonderful time of the year. :D 8) I hope it's this nice where you live.
----Danny

Your house has a frontage view of Lake Union? Sweet.

Not so lucky, I live 30 some miles north on another lake in a rural setting. It's very nice and not so industrial. This is the view from My place in Summer. 8)

Nice view. Is it a smallish lake or is that a bay in the lake?

Say what is the name of that little community of houses floating on Lake Union? I mean the one where all the houses are 3,000 (+) sq ft and there's a small yacht moored in front of every second home. I haven't been to Seattle since '01 or '02 but that was a memorable sight to see.

Danny Sweet View! And with that dock I would be fishing all day long! Sorry to hear about the snow...it was 65 and sunny here near St Louis today, hard to believe it is 16 Jan  As for the drivers and snow...same here...they get 1 inch of snow and you would think they were from Florida and have never seen it before. Last year at this time we had snow for a couple weeks and it was 12 inches one day and then another 8-10 the next, and then followed up with another 12...I was so sick of snow blowing the driveway every day! And today it was nice enough to take the Vette out for a nice ride and lunch with Mrs. T2...sorry didn't mean to rub it in

Is this the one? This is the Lake Union Boat House community anywhere from $1,00000000000 up. and that doesn't count the Boat.

That's a beautiful spot where you live Danny,I live just a couple of hundred feet from the North Atlantic where the beach by our house is routinely pounded with 20 ft. waves and a 12" snowfall is nothing unusual.Seattle is definitely in my list of places to see before I take the dirt nap,I am intent on making a pilgrimage to Jimi's grave site.

I've never seen the east coast and it's definitely on my bucket list. I was in New York when I was 4or5 but I don't remember it. 8)

My boy lives on the other side of the lake in Redmond and they got quite a little snow yesterday as well. I also saw pics of my little guitar playing Granddaughter playing in the snow.

The weather man got it all wrong. Were really getting dumped on and the prediction is for maybe up to a foot more in some places around the sound. Oh well it is winter.
Brrrrrrrrrrrr. I'm staying in the house for this one.

If it's anything like that around here the grocery stores get wiped out of milk, bread, and beer...Then when people fall down the reason is not always the weather. The local 4 wheel drive trucks come out in force doing donuts in empty parking lots, knocking over light poles, leaving a trail of empty beer cans and their signature in the snow with a yellow highlighter...

Hope you don't have to endure such behaviour in your neck of the woods Danny.
