Really!?....I've played for 40+ years, and couldn't touch Johnny...and have been on this site for a couple of years and have never seen anybody post a vid anywhere close to what he can do......catch some of the vids of him onstage with people like Sammy Hagar.....your opinion and mine of a vesatile guitarist are lightyears apart. :?

+1 - complete agreement. Johnny rules any guitar he plays. When I die and go to Heaven (hey, it's possible...), I'll still wish I could play like Johnny! :P

I could not touch him. Well, I could since I went to his clinic in Connecticut but instead just talked with him a bit and asked him to sign stuff for my 2 kids and for me. Nicest guy going and I can honestly say that the only guitarist I've ever heard who came close to him would be Albert Lee. Albert has an advantage as he's not legally blind like Johnny is.

Johnny lives near here in Tn.,and a keyboard playing friend of mine has jammed with him onstage several times,he said that Johnny joined them from another planet.
I've never met him,but I've been told he's a great guy also,Jack FFR1846.
