Good morning Beaubs and welcome back! It's a nippy 53°F in south Florida going up to just 71°F today. I'm looking forward to our annual Fender Forum lunch in Ft. Lauderdale this afternoon. Hoping for a record turnout.

Hi Beaubs, Hi everyone. Today I'll just sit and play by the tube amp to get some warmth. It is presently 1°F outside and it should drop to minus 13°F this evening. Have a warm weekend everyone. :)
listening to Garret Mason right now. A cool guy from Nova Scotia.

Hello fellow guitar hounds!

It's a chilly 4 degrees here in the American heartland, with 5 inches of new show on the ground. Hard to believe we broke records with 52 degrees on Wednesday, then dropped 40 degrees when the snow blew in that night! Winter is here. :(

On the brighter side, I will be cleaning up the shop (well insulated and heated) today in preparation for a Thursday jam with two musicians I've never met before. 50-something lead guitar and bass player who have been playing together on and off for years, but mostly in casual throw-together bands. They want something more serious and so do I, so I hope it works out.

Dang, it's cold here today... and I need a haircut, too!

Good morning to all, and hope all is well with you and yours. Well winter has finally hit here in Western New York, woke up to a balmy 14 degrees F, and 7-8 inches of new snow on the ground bringing our 2 day total to around 15 inches, but not to fret(get it) the coffee is hot, the pellet stove is keeping it around 74 inside, and the tubes of the Egnater are warmed up. Only drawback is I have to go out on my 4 wheeler and plow this afternoon.

Goodmorning Beaubs and every one. Chicago is cold this morning, mid- 20s and there is a blanket of snow still here from Thursday. Our first that has lasted this long and, yes we have been lucky, lol. Going to help my drummer the electrician at a new studio in Des Plaines, Johnny Winters first bass guitar player, Dennis Drugan sons are building it. Great Bros. I'm hoping for some jam time today and hope you all have a great weekend.

Good mornin' forumites,
Nice to see everyone gathered 'round the coffee pot. Had the same big drop in temp. w/40 mph winds yesterday, some snow flurries and plaid flannel all around.
The Strat in on the stand and I'm thinking it's a good day for a new set of strings and some guitar polish.

Good morning, folks. -15C today (5F), overcast and gloomy. Oso Negro Deeply Organic Dark Roast brewing on the countertop (mmmm that Oso Negro is some gooo-ood coffee). I'll restring a Strat today and maybe an acoustic as well, gather up some of my "don't-leave-home-without-it" gear and get ready for an open mic happening is St. Albert this afternoon and evening. I'll take the Egantor and the new 30 lb. board.

Morning to you to. It's 32* here, 30 miles north of Seattle, intermittent mixed snow and rain in the forecast. Its cold outside but inside my amp is wormed up and the Tele's ready to go. If I need to go out I've got my trusty F150 4X4 standing by. 8)

Afternoon all! It is a balmy 9 degrees f here in lovely Kingston Ontario and we have a beautiful blanket of snow! So far I have been in the studio putting my new Deluxe VM through the paces of recording and must say very satisfied with the sounds I am getting from this monster! It is supposed to go down to -17 this evening so we will be having a few warm beverages at the ABS household as we watch the NFL playoffs! HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND EVERYONE!
ABS :D
