Thanks, SA. Like I said at the start of the thread this board was pretty much a test bed to try some ideas I had that arised from the inadequacies of my last board that finally fell apart recently. It was my intention to try this one and see if I could make any further improvements. I can and I think I will. I hurried through this build because I started on Thursday night and needed it to be finished for a jam session at a pub on Saturday afternoon. As a result I jumped right in without thinking everything through and a couple of issues came up. In retrospect I should have made the s l o p e support pieces B & C as one piece. The lower narrow surface E should have been at least a half inch deeper, meaning the control cavity would be a half inch narrower which would not have been a problem for the pedals on the upper level. The Lex was a pretty tight fit on that lower level and could have used a little more room. There is no gusset supporting the lower level on the end opposite D, not that the board feels flimsy without it but it just doesn't look right to me. The three treadle style pedals on the lower level could easily have been repositioned up the s l o p e by a half inch. There was plenty of room up at the top of the s l o p e. I failed to consider the piano hinge as I was drilling the holes and ended up having to take a grinder to the hinge and carve out some relief areas for the pedal mount holes A. None of these issues are deal breakers and the board does still function very well but the other thing that makes me want to rebuild it is that I realize now that I chose three throbbing style pedals but didn't include my envelope follower or flanger or fuzz or compressor. I chose the pedals based on my expectations for that jam session and didn't consider versatility for the future. I think I'm going to do this project again.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.
