Which is the best Capo?

For most people it seems to come down to Shubb or Kyser... with the G7 also having a good following.

Which is your favourite... and why??

I'd go for Shubb for studio and Kyser for stage. The former gives best intonation and sound, the latter is easier to change quickly.

Vote for your favourite in the poll at www.guitarstringguide.com

G7 by a mile. Not only a great guitar accessory, but one of the finest little industrial objects of any kind I've had the pleasure to use. Absolutely not futzing around required.

Until I bought him one, my dad always just used an elastic band an a Pencil.

Worked like a charm, but was an arse to adjust/put on/take off with any great speed.

Agree, the G7 is the best Capo that I have used.

I have this one too. I like it. My sister has the G7. While the G7 is nice and the design seems way trick, it's kinda thick. I like the cam-over action on the Planetwave one. I got mine for half the price of the G7. Think you'll be fine with either. That said, my girlfriend as a crappy $5 pinch one and it works fine too...
