It seems like there is a market for the Fender Red Label chainsaw case . What years were they made, and why does the red label make any difference?

If you mean the molded cases with the red Fender label, I have one
that came with an '05 American Standard Strat. I've never heard anything
about them being in demand though.

Here's what mine looks like:

Thanks Mike, I have been curious. It's been my observation that when anyone advertises one for sale, they always mention it's a red label, like it commands a price premium, as opposed to pretty much the same case w/o the red label.

There's nothing special about the case. It is just associated with the guitars and the years it was put out. Just a way of confirming it is the the original case that came with the guitar. :)

It fits a Strat like a glove and the only drawback is not
having a 'large compartment' like the old G&G cases had, but
that's just how it rolls I guess.
