It's an early to mid 80s Peavey, Made in the USA. It has amazing tones so far. Paid $70 for it.

Here's another of it.

I would have done a gainy recording, but my line in started acting weird.

Also, it does something a bit weird. When I turn reverb on and use the gain channel, I get slight feedback, the bad kind, the squeeky kind. Unless this amp wasn't designed for reverb and gain, I want to know how I can fix it, because I absolutely love this thing.

I don't know. I'll look under the hood tomorrow. But it gives the finest clean tone I've ever played with. (If only my line in were better, you could hear what I hear... ) I was playing improv surf tunes for about 3 and 1/2 hours today.

But I love it. It has a silverish-greyish tolex with sea green trim. great looker imo.

Great little amp. I didn't even notice it, it was under this guitar rack and I had walked by it many times. I can't find this particular model anywhere on the interwebz :?

Closest thing I found to any info was a few pics. I kind of want an exact date. The dude at the store said mid 80s (Guessing 84-88?)

Incredibly bad picture. What's the MODEL NAME on the amp, besides Peavey. Specs, manuals and pics for every Peavey amp ever made can be found easily at Peavey.com. They're all there for the looking and you can download and print the manuals, you could learn something about the amp you bought.

Envoy 110. I Googled it, and there was a link to Peavey, but it didn't work when I clicked it.

This link should be good as gold. It doesn't matter how old the amp - Peavey has all of the manuals online.

The Envoy isn't a bad little amp. I played one at the local Music-Go-Round about six times, but I couldn't quite pull the trigger at a non-negotiable $100. It was very clean and everything worked.

Thanks. It's a good little amp, and quite the powerhouse. And the one you played, the one with the green trim with brushed steel on the sides? and a 75W version? I can tell you if I ever see another just like it, I'll get it.

Ahh yes, and If I sit right next to the amp the pickups feed back too.

But I'm not one for intricacy, or really going into technical detail, I just enjoy the noise 8)
