What should you use to clean your strat? Something different for the fingerboard?

Lemon oil if it's rosewood. For maple, I guess a wipe down with a soft rag between string changes. For the body, they make polish. Also, for finger grease right next to frets, use Qtips.

i use Dunlop 65 guitar polish for the body and the lemon oil for the fretboard. After i clean and polish the guitar i use mothers mag polish for chrome, mother caranuba was for the body to put a protective layer on it (sometimes i will do two coats). Then after everything is cleaned and polished i will restring it and play the hell out of it. i am a bit overboard with the care of my guitars but i care a great deal about them so i put extra into their cleaning and maintenance.

And a clean guitar sounds so much cleaner when the effects are turned off.
