You don't see many Fender Esprit guitars for sale very often.

Just thought I'd throw it up here in case anyone has the itch. Rare chance here. I have a Squier Esprit. It definitely gets some nice tones. I can only imagine the difference between the Squier and Fender. I'd love to try one out if the opportunity ever presented itself.

Pretty interesting guitar, I've never seen one. I wonder what pups they are and what the scale length is. Pretty steep price. It would need to call out my name for that much money.

A thing of beauty..

After some recent spending, I'd be pushed to buy even the cheap Squire version (which is a ridiculously good guitar by the way).

It is a rare guitar. I can't speak so much for the Fender, but the Squier is definitely worth buying for the mid level price it goes for.

The Squier version has a Tune-O-Matic style bridge that is decent, but not quite Tonepros quality. Once you have your heights set, I'm not so sure how much that matters. But the Fender version seems to have a fine tuner bridge that would be a cool feature, and I'm sure the pickups are a step up from the Duncan designed HB pickups that come stock with the Squiers.

The mahogany chambered body of the Squier really brings out warm tones that resonate and sustain very well. I'm currently using a Dimarzio Tone Zone in the bridge and a custom made Benson pickup in the neck of mine, and it has a low end that is very musical to say the least. I swapped the stock bridge for a Tonepros really because of a mistake of buying the wrong post size for another guitar. I'm not sure it really needed it. But I'm very happy with the Tonepros regardless.

Given the rarity of the Fender, and knowing how well the Squier is built, I would say that the Fender Esprit is reasonably priced in the ad. There aren't very many reasons I would ever spend that kind of money on a guitar. But for that guitar, I probably would. Maybe it's because I already have a familiarity with the Squier version.
