Found this trawling YT tonight, Eric is awesome here, as are the rest of the guys, but Eric is sublime, had to share this. The comments on YT were about who "cut" who here? Warren, Derek or Eric? You be the judge, suffice to say Eric is in good form here. 8)

Thanks for posting Gary. Eric is always the best guitar player on the stage. Warren and Derek are very cool. It's great to see younger guitarists playing as good as they do. My favorite EC band is Cream. I've always thought his influence on guitar based music with that project was/is timeless. IMHO.

Hi SBLS, yeah i was delighted to see this video of Eric with the Allmann Brothers band and Eric really soloed with a lot of fire and energy, also his tone with the signature EC strat was just great, easily competing with the sound of the Gibson's on stage, powerful and cutting all at the same time. Wonderful stuff.

I agree, i loved the Cream stuff, so powerful and when you listen to tracks like "Tales Of Brave Ulysses" people just don't write stuff like that nowadays. Have you seen the You Tube documentary about the making of that album? it's great 8)
