I tend to come down on the side of John Hiatt on this one, although I think this song is more of a reaction to guys like Garth Brooks than Townsend or Hendrix:

Yep....and it took every ounce of reserve to avoid destroying my piano bench when I was 15 years old, and playing his stuff. :wink: By the way, are you aware that he and Berry duked it out once over the question of who was the king of rock and roll?

I had not heard that one Doc, kind of like Charlemagne and Arthur tussling over the mythical title, lol. Thanks Doc, I can't help but wonder who won. 8)
