theres been a couple of threads like this that have stayed on the board for a couple of weeks then vanished. i couldn't be bothered finding them. i think they're good, cause after all, this is a place where we share our gee-tar knowledge, so why not our daily practices?

anyway, my morning practice was fairly good, im still practicing finger picking. that is excruciatingly hard when your me, but i have slightly improved over the months

After our little group chat about pain yesterday, I think I had more enthusiasm today. That gave the inspiration to practice for an hour. which is about twice as long as I have been. 8)

Not as good as it should have been. I kept getting interrupted every 15 or 20 min. Once I get in the practice zone I don't like getting pulled out of it.

I didn't get to practice today :| Tomorrow for sure. The wifey and my youngest (daughter) is leaving for mother-in-laws house for weekend ,so me and my older son got the house to ourselves :D .I will definitely be turning up some volume on the twin and I got a few new toys to play with also.I bought a little Fender Champion 600 for practically nothing, which I am pretty sure I will do some mods to and make my dedicated harp amp for home practice. Also bought a new shure sm57 which will just be the workhorse for my cheesy little bedroom studio for just about whatever I need it for basically. It will be a good weekend :D Guitars will be getting new strings also as they are screaming change me

Totally OK. Tried my new T-Rex Fuel Tank and played some Kravitz tunes.

Cheers

I'm so bummed that I can't practice. I smashed my left index finger last night trying to open a stuck window. I got a blood clot under the nail. I drilled a hole through the nail this morning to relieve the the pressure and that helped some. But, it's bruised pretty good. I've always been a clutz, so this is typical. I may have to try playing with three fingers for a while.

So sorry to hear that Drew 365. I hope you get better soon! Please keep us posted.

I try to practice about 1 to 2 hours a day. Many times I fantasize about being a youth without any responsibility.(And all I can do is play all day with out a worry in the world)

But . . . . thats the price you pay for being an adult! :LOL!

That sucks, I remember a couple years ago I sliced open my index finger and took 8 stiches, I was done for a couple weeks, then after a week or so after it could be used again I ended up slicing into my ring finger and took 6 more stiches. Not a good couple months.

I just got my american standard precision bass wednesday, so I've gotten really into practicing everyday for like 2 hours.

also, I have to learn yyz by Rush, and I'm nowhere near the skill level of Geddy Lee. I guess I'll be practicing for a while. :)

My practice today was alright, I played with my friend who was on the drums for about 4 hours today. Mainly Metallica, I wanted to play YYZ (Well, the intro and main riff, everything after that fries my brain atm) but every drummer I know looks at me crosseyed when I ask them if they know any Rush >_>
