I enjoy the sound and feel of my acoustic.

I'd say the OP has made quite an Impression.....Bravo....Bravo....
Now I know where to send my old stale Phosphor Bronze Strings instead of just throwing them out.....  ...I'm sure even in their well played out state, they'll make the Op's Laminated Top acoustic resonate.......

Only one forum member would agree with this idiotic notion. I wouldn't know where to start.

This 1929 National tricone resonator would make a lovely shiny drum.

Minnesota, thanks, I've been using "Stupidity has it's own rewards" since the stone age and yours has a "new and improved" vibe definitely.
Andy, sockmeister to the rescue. Appreciated :D
Ceri, you are a wise old sage my most wonderful friend.
C#m, I'm on to you, when I saw your post I knew you wanted to see it untouched until it dropped off of the page. I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole. This is a very cool community and we like to talk to one another, learn and share information. When someone posts, most of us respond, kindly, hoping they are one of our kind. I often don't, because, I'm cynical and old and hope for the best but prepare for the worst and, a geezer somewhat skeptical although not in a religious sense more a humanistic false pretense sense and, well, why test us? There have been trolls visiting here and I always thought they came because of ignorance, stupidity or both but I didn't get that impression. Kind of like, "what big teeth you have grandma". Here is your chance, delete the silly post and we will delete all of ours, a do over, our house is tidy, "give a hoot and don't pollute".
