Looking for a new pedal for the board. This is my current chain:

Boss TU2>Vox 847 wah>MXR phase 90>TS9 Tubescreamer>Boss NS2 Noise Supressor
Then in the FX Loop. BBE Sonic Maximizer>GE7 EQ>Boss CH1 Chorus>Boss PS5 Pitch Shifter>MXR Carbon Copy Delay

Next, suggestions??

Thanks

Hi chuckbat1: I could lose at least half of those, especially the noise supressor. But I'd be stuck without a compressor: that would be my next pedal if I were you.

You could also use a reverb. And a tremolo. And a Leslie simulator. And a sitar pedal.

Also, loopers are fun. And then you will need an EH Riddle Q-Balls, if only for the name.

Cheers - C

The Tech21NYC Rotochoir pedal is probably the best Leslie simulator being made today. You can have the simulater rotating drum going slow while the simulated rotating horns are going fast or vice-versa or any combinations of the 2 that you want. Look them up here: http://www.tech21nyc.com/ they have info and demos of the Rotochoir.I've seen them advertized in the region of $220,at some of the larger chain stores.

Without knowing what music you play or artists you try to emulate, my two cents would be Flanger, Compressor or Fuzz.

As soon as I saw your post I thought Uni-Vibe. I have no idea who makes a cheap one but I do know that Fulltone makes a great one. I love my MiniDejaVibe II.

Danelectro Chicken Salad, $30, but a bit noisy. I also have the same vibe pedal as BMW, the Fulltone Mini Deja Vibe. It's a great pedal but $200+, very versatile though. For the price, the Chicken Salad does a good job.

I'm with Tochai, get some fuzz,

I have the H&K Tube RotoShpere MkII and I also have the Strymon Lex. I like the warmth of the H&K but it's not as versatile as the Strymon for speed and intensity settings. The Lex also seems to do a better job of the different rates of acceleration/decceleratrion of the two drivers. The H&K is a monster pedal taking up a huge footprint. I'll check the Tech21NYC out. I hadn't heard of it before. If it lacks the warmth of the H&K I can't see it being much of an improvement over the Lex but I'll look at it. Thanks for the heads up.

I checked it out on YouTube. I don't think it's any improvement over the Lex. Think I'll just keep what I've got. It definitely has more crunch than the Lex's soft OD. I'm starting to get too many pedals again. I just sold about 40 pedals in a group sale less than 6 months ago and my numbers are climbing again.

The Boss RT20 Rotary Ensemble does a fine and dandy emulation of a couple of different Leslie cabinet models as well as a good Uni-Vibe...

It's a little bit big, but it more than satisfies my jonesin' for a Leslie cab...

Another effect you don't have (this was mentioned already) is Fuzz...the MXR M-173 Classic Fuzz (with buffer for better use with a wah) is bloody awesome...

Thanks for the suggestions. I think I'll try the leslie simulator. I had a mini deja vibe a while back. Might look for another, or try the Boss, not sure. I couldv'e swore I saw one offered by BBE though for a lot less than Mike Fuller's or Dunlop.
