Where's Rick Lopez's leather jacket? It was stolen in Vegas about a year and a half ago.

I heard about Frampton's LP on the radio this morning. It was lost for 30+ years?!

They found Jaco's "Bass of Doom" a few years ago . . . if it's really genuine.

I believe your're thinking of Claptons Les Paul "Beano". It's never turned up. Page has his #1 that was given to him by Joe Walsh.

I guess that the biggest stars can become enamoured with a favourite guitar just as we mortal guys can and can be just as devastated when a particularly favourite guitar gets stolen or destroyed.I've had only one guitar stolen and that was an $80 Raven copy of a small body Martin.Although it was only a cheap guitar it had an exceptional sound just unbelieveable for such a cheap guitar.I guess that's why the loss of that guitar hit me so hard.I'm glad for Peter Frampton because that guitar was used in making one of rock's best live abums,he must be over the moon getting her back.

Was claptons beano les paul stolen too? Hadnt heard that before, my heads way more full with zeppelin trivia than it is clapton trivia mind you!

I think i know the one phreddybee is talking about and it was pageys, the black beauty les paul he plays at the royal albert hall gig you can see on their on their dvd. Believe it went missing at an airport and never turned up, heard he put an ad up in a music paper with a reward and everything but it was never returned.

I recently saw a kid on `mastermind` (uk quiz show where contestants can pick their specialist subject) whose specialist subject was led zeppelin, it was the only time i ever would have scored 100% if it had been me up there... and if the pressure hadnt had got to me, which it surely would have done.... anyway, made me feel quite sad! Imagine if id filled up my memory with useful information as a teenager?

The secret to life, find a way to make a buck off of your knowledge, no matter how useless it may seem. "Consulting". I have a friend who is a walking sports encyclopedia, and he's never made a dime off of it.

Yes, Beano was stolen while Clapton was rehearsing for the first Cream album. It's one of the holy grails out there. Another is the Bloomfield Les Paul. Though apparently there's strong rumor that someone in Canada has that one stashed away.
